Google Business Profile Reinstatements

Suspended or gone from Google Maps? I help local businesses find out why, fix what Google flagged, and handle the appeal.

You don’t pay unless your profile is reinstated.

Signs your profile has been suspended

  • Your business stopped showing up on Google Maps
  • Google emailed you saying your profile was suspended
  • Your profile dashboard says it’s suspended or disabled
  • Calls from Google dropped off almost overnight

Why Profiles Get Suspended

Google suspends profiles it thinks break its rules. It’s usually one of these.

Your Address

A home address, virtual office, or mailbox showing as your business location. If you go to your customers instead of them coming to you, Google usually wants your address hidden.

Your Business Name

Keywords or city names added to your name, like “Best Plumber Tacoma” or “Cheap Dumpster Rental,” when that isn’t what’s on your paperwork.

Big Changes at Once

Changing your name, address, phone number, or categories all at the same time can send your profile into review.

Duplicate Listings

More than one profile for the same business, or profiles set up in towns where you don’t have a real location.

A Competitor Reported You

Anyone can report a profile or suggest edits to it, and that alone can trigger a review.

No Clear Reason

Sometimes Google’s automated filters flag a legitimate business. It happens more than you’d think, and it can still be fixed.

How I Get It Back

A strong appeal fixes the problem first, then proves to Google you’re a real business.

  1. Find the cause

I go through your profile, your website, and your recent changes to figure out what Google flagged.

  2. Fix the problem

Address, name, categories, or duplicates. Whatever broke the rules gets fixed before we appeal.

  3. Build the appeal

I gather the proof Google asks for, like your business license, a utility bill, and photos of your vehicles, equipment, or signage, then submit it.

  4. Follow through

I handle Google’s follow-up questions and any video verification, and stay on it until there’s a decision.

Christopher McquadeGoogle review

Alan was great working with to analyze why I wasn’t google verified and the process I needed to take to get verified. Extremely helpful and got through my problem in 20 minutes that was taking me hours on my own to figure out. Highly recommend his company.

What Not to Do While You're Suspended

Some of the most common moves make a suspension harder to undo.

Don't make a new profile

A second profile looks like a duplicate to Google and can make the original harder to get back.

Don't keep editing

Changing things at random while you’re under review can confuse the appeal and slow it down.

Don't send appeal after appeal

One strong appeal with the right proof does more than five rushed ones.

Once You're Back on the Map

When a profile is reinstated, your reviews usually come back with it. From there, SEO can help you climb higher in the map so the calls pick back up.

Need calls while you wait?

Google Ads doesn’t need your Business Profile to run, so it can keep calls coming while we work on the appeal.

Reinstatement Questions

What does it cost?

You only pay if your profile gets reinstated. We’ll agree on the price before I start, and if Google doesn’t bring your profile back, you don’t owe me anything.

How long does reinstatement take?

It depends on Google. Some profiles come back in a few days and others take several weeks. Getting the appeal right the first time is the best way to keep it short.

Will I get my reviews back?

Usually, yes. When a suspended profile is reinstated, the reviews typically come back with it.

Can you guarantee Google will reinstate my profile?

No one can guarantee what Google decides. That’s why you don’t pay me unless your profile is reinstated. If Google says no, you owe nothing.

Can I still run Google Ads while I’m suspended?

Yes. Google Ads doesn’t need your Business Profile to run, so it’s a good way to keep calls coming while we work on the appeal. Ask me about setting it up.
